In the past, the village has attracted a lot of attention because it was the hometown of the former South African President and Nobel Peace Prize winner, Nelson Mandela.<\/p><p>Despite the village's fame, many of its inhabitants live in poverty. For many years, the children of the village were educated in extremely difficult conditions in the No-Moscow elementary school.<\/p><p>Most of the school buildings were in a very poor condition.
